funds to support teachers in the Lafayette School District and Acalanes
High School who want to improve and enrich the educational experience

There are two categories of grants to better address the various needs and objectives of the proposed curriculum projects. We will be awarding mini-grants (grants up to $1000 which will include a shorter application and on-site interviews with school allocation rep) and project grants (grants over $1000 that require more detail and a committee review). LASF seeks to achieve the Teacher Allocation Grant goals by supporting projects that:
Only classroom teachers within LSD or AHS are eligible. LASF requires teachers to consult with site administrators and/or district curriculum staff before submitting grants. Funds are available starting July 1, 2008 and will not be distributed prior to that date. The LASF Grant Program will not fund projects that:
